Balanced inversion of chromosome 9?

Question

Has anyone here with this been successful at conceiving naturally? Have your doctors recommended IVF? Mine is on the p12,q13 which is supposed to be one of the most common; my husband’s came back all normal. 
I haven’t found much information about it online - mostly information about translocations. Trying to pin down time with a genetic counselor in case the RE I’m seeing doesn’t have more information. Think conversations with both would be helpful, or should RE suffice? 
I’ve already had two early miscarriages and they also found that I have an MTHFR mutation, plus possible clotting issue.

Update: I ended up seeing both this week. 
The RE asked us to do more testing, specifically day 3 bloodwork and HSG and semen analysis. She believes that because the chromosome is a normal variant it should not cause any issues. 
The clinical geneticist said that this particular inversion should not cause reproductive problems and is a very common one among the general population. It is much more likely there would be a random chromosome issue than this particular one affecting me during a pregnancy. 
I guess I feel like I have a little more closure but am still super anxious to try again. But I guess a big part of this process is just trying and hoping for the best 😑

My clinic just called with my results and I have a normal 46xx female karyotype with a balanced pericentric inversion of chromosome 9. “This common inversion is not known to be associated with any clinical effects and is considered a normal population variant.” I did read online that there is some suspicion it could lead to increased risk for miscarriage or infertility. I’ve had 3 early miscarriages (chemicals). Sounds like we have a similar situation. My doctor is not concerned since apparently it’s all normal but they still referred me to see a genetics counselor for more in depth explanation. I hope IVF will not have to be our last resort...

I am so sorry for your losses.  I don’t have any advice, but just wanted to say I am praying for all of us here.  I hope you can get some answers soon.
