Placenta Encapsulation. Would you do it?

I'm thinking about having my placenta Encapsulated. With my first baby my body struggled to make even an ounce of milk. I tried a lot! Anyways, now I am pregnant again, and thinking I might have my placenta encapsulated. I heard it can help with a lot after birth, including breastmilk supply. My question: would you do it? I would also love some personal stories if you have done it!

No. There no proven benefits to it and there are no regulations around the companies that do it. They dont have safety standards to follow.

I didn’t the first time but I had severe PPD from the sudden loss of all of those hormones so I’m going to be taking this this time.

I did this with my first so I don't have anything to compare it too ... But my son was an emergency C-section and we struggled with breastfeeding while in the hospital but by the time we got home & I started my pills, my milk came in beautifully and we successfully fed for 13 months (obvs other factors contributed) I also have generalized anxiety and was worried about suffering with PPD - I believe these also helped a lot with that. I was able to manage the "normal baby blues" - will definitely be doing this again. My advice though if you do it, is to not broadcast it or you'll have everyone throwing their opinions down your throat as it's not something alot of people understand! Do what's right for you momma!

I don't really see the point. There have been several studies done that show their is no significant effect from it.
