Caffeine withdraw?

I haven't been able to have any caffeine since December due to morning sickness I was only able to drink water. I drank a cherry coke about a week ago without getting sick and have been having headaches since. My boyfriend got me another cherry coke and am feeling better. Am I suffering from caffeine withdraws even though I went so long without it? I used to drink 1 or 2 cokes a day before getting pregnant

No, caffeine helps with headaches, that’s why you got relief from it. Headaches are very normal during pregnancy, I’ve dealt with a 5 day migraine twice 😩 but yes caffeine eases headaches.

After a week I think the "withdrawal" would be over. Headaches are very common and caffeine can help because it opens the blood vessels. Have you tried taking Tylenol for the headache? I was told if I had one I couldn't get to go away I needed to be tested for pre-eclampsia... But I'm not sure how early you can get it. BTW, having one can of coke a day is fine unless you have been told otherwise by the doc
