Any moms working and plan on working immediately after child birth??

Question

Okay so due to some pregnancy complications early on I’ve been off work but recently got a new serving job I start next week where I’ll be 35 weeks+. I know maternity leave isn’t a option but I do plan on returning to work as soon as baby and I are home to help with bills my fiancé has been stuck maintaining all alone. Any other moms going back to work immediately after as im under a week after delivery

Girlll, with my first two I had 3rd degree tears both times... I couldn't even sit down normally for about 2 weeks after birth 😳 I couldnt imagine having to work so quickly! Huge props to you mama!

I waitress and am 37+ weeks. I am working until I go into labor and have been saving a little so I can take some time off after to adjust but plan to go back as soon as possible. We cant afford for me to be off for too long... waitressing makes too good of money lol

I’m only taking 2 weeks off but I am part owner in a local daycare so baby will be with me and I’m only going back on the days both my business partner and I are needed for a couple weeks too. I kind of have to go back early since she is due in June and has appointments she’ll need to get to too.

I went back to work after 5 weeks post partum with my last baby in 2016.

I went back to work 4 weeks after my daughter was born (1/2/18) and plan on taking 6 weeks this time (due 4/25). I’m a nanny and the family I worked for when I was pregnant with my daughter was really nice but could only cover for me being out for 4 weeks. I am with a new family now and have a friend who used to work at the same day care as me and she is filling in for me so I will have a little bit more flexibility (hopefully). This time I won’t have paid maternity leave though so we will see. 😊🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm taking a week off then I'm planning to work from home, my husband is only taking few days off but he will be around from noon to 5pm so he's going to be helping around during that time.
