And how old are they? Does your partner feel the same way? If not, what do you do if they spank and you don’t agree with it? 😓

I’m met with negative comments when I say I don’t want to spank my daughter. I believe there are much better and more effective ways to get your message across. I’m mostly told “oh you don’t even know” ... but I was never spanked so it’s obviously possible 🤷🏻‍♀️ My husband WAS spanked and sees nothing wrong with it. I don’t know if he will try to spank our daughter and we both agree that we will discuss right and wrong with her, use time outs, etc... but when there is a kid realllly misbehaving sometimes he will say things like “that kid needs a spanking” and it worries me.
