Possible ectopic pregnancy ?! Pls help

Hi everyone, I have had no bleeding or nausea so far, I am about 5-7 weeks (not sure yet exact date acc to dc) I have been having very light sharp twinges in Both sides of my abdomen. Could this be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy? I am very worried but has anyone with a healthy baby had similar symptoms?

I've gotten those pains with both my pregnancies. It's probably just your uterus expanding and pulling on ligaments. Try not to worry!

As someone who has had an ectopic pregnancy, I can reassure you by saying ectopic pregnancy pains are nothing like you describe above - think extremely intense period cramps to the point you know somethings not right. And I got off light with my pain, have heard other women’s pains were that bad they literally passed out. You have nothing to worry about.

The only way they can tell if it's an ectopic or not is to do a transvaginal scan. My last pregnancy ended in an ectopic when my doctor couldn't find the baby in my uterus at 5 to 6 wks pregnant. Although mine was also followed by cramping and slight bleeding as well so hopefully that isn't the case for you and your baby is in the right spot.
