When to announce pregnancy?

When do you feel "safe" telling the world you're pregnant?
I'm due November 22 so 4 weeks 2 days right now. 
We waited till 12 weeks with my daughter who is 6 years old now
We were going to wait till 12 weeks with my last pregnancy but it ended at 6 weeks...I felt sad that my baby basically became this sad secret to us but glad family didnt have to hurt too.
So I want to have a easter reveal... i would be about 9 weeks. But I dont think il feel comfortable with this unless I get an early scan and hear that little heart beating.
What are your opinions safe not safe? When do you plan to announce?

After having 4 miscarriages, I’m a firm believer in waiting the 12+ weeks. I know women who revealed before that and luckily had no problems. I think if you get your scan and everything looks great, not one ounce of doubt, then I’d go with what you’re wanting and do an Easter reveal!

I also just found out. My est due date is 11/23 but I already told some family. We are waiting to tell our kids. We are thinking of also revealing to them on Easter.

We will reveal to close family around 8-9 weeks. Whenever first scan is. But we probably aren’t going to announce announce until I’m like 6 months. I lost my first at 24 weeks. We had just announced (everyone found out I couldn’t hide it anymore). We didn’t make a big deal about his passing for awhile because I was only 18. . . Well I got pregnant again 5 months later and a few people literally said to me “you’re still pregnant?” That hurt. It was tough. I want to be so happy and share the news but my anxiety tells me to just wait. We have a long way to go.

Entirely up to you no right or wrong answer. For me I think I need to see a scan with a healthy heartbeat (whether that’s an early one or at 12 weeks) then would feel more comfortable telling people. I’m having an early one at 8 weeks so we’ll probably tell close family then but wait until our 12 week scan before announcing to everyone else.

I think it’s a personal choice. We announced as soon as we found out to close family and friends. Unfortunately we lost the baby at seven weeks (January) we wouldn’t have got through it without them and glad the short life was acknowledged/enjoyed.
This time we’ve told our parents and close friends at four weeks - we will tell grandparents etc after our first scan. X x
