Eating

Christian • Hello, my name is Christian, but I go by Cj. I have 2 beautiful babies already from previous relationships, unplanned pregnancies both are still my world! Now I am trying for baby #3! TTC 3 months!

So my 2 year old has a tendency to be a very picky eater. But he loves drinking milk! Is there any drink out there that will act as milk but at the same time give him kinda a meal at the same time. The only food he will eat is junk food so I just need him to eat something that's not chips, cookies, and chocolate. Trust me I don't let him live off this but he wants to.

Any suggestions/ideas?

Why don't you try making him smoothies? Hide some healthy stuff in a milk like smoothie ?

I would talk to your pediatrian, or a diet consultant at WIC. A meal replacement drink or enriched smoothie is probably not ideal for a child. I've worked with many picky eaters, I know the struggle!! So a few yrs ago I researched, read books, talked to doctors and watched videos. What I learned is the important thing to remember is to NOT make it a battle. Just stop buying junk and limit the milk. Continue to provide fresh fruit and vegetables and cold water. * But don't force it.* Its your job to provide good choices it is the child's job to eat it.
