Sore breasts

Hi all! I wasn’t able to successfully BF as my little one cannot latch properly. I’ve been pumping and supplementing formula as my right breast does not produce much milk. I’m talking drops after 30 min of pumping :( the LC at the hospital when I gave birth told me to pump as my LO caused a lot of damage to the breast tissue in her first few days trying to get her to latch.

But my left one has been great - always producing/leaking, no problems. As of last night though my left breast is SO sore to the touch. I tried pumping to relieve some pressure thinking they’re just really full but I got like 1.5oz, and normally I can get a good 2.5-3oz, and no pain went away.

Last night I was shivering so violently it woke me from my sleep and I had to grab an extra blanket to try and get back to sleep. I may have a slight fever but I’m not sure as LO has been lying on me a while as well. And I have an AWFUL headache.

Just wondering if this is normal as your milk really comes in or if I should be concerned? I’ll be calling my doctor when they open in a few hours but I just wanted someone else’s experience
