Is it rude not to come to the table when someone else cooks food for you right away?

So when I cook breakfast in the morning I'll text husband thst breakfast is ready. He usually text back "nice thanks". But he will lay in bed on his phone then lazily take a shower and get dressed before coming to breakfast and it irks me!! Sometimes its 30 minutes or better before he comes to the table.. while I'm somewhat expected to wait tlfor him unless our 2 year old gets up and I feed him...

I was raised, when someone calls for breakfast, lunch, supper etc. We have a grace window of 5-7 minutes to wrap up what we are doing and join the family for mealtime.. when his mom never made her kids (or husband) come to the table in a decent time frame but was expected for the food to be hot.. that poor woman... 😒
