College or a trade

I went to college for a while but dropped out because I had lost my job and couldn’t afford school.

I’m traveling on the road with my boyfriend but I want to do a career. I don’t want to go back to college so I was looking into learning a trade.

I have a few trades picked that I could learn like cosmetology, event planner or graphic designer. I’m wondering if I do these would I have to already know about them or can I be a beginner and learn how to do it?

Which is better college or trade school?
