How much does/ did your 6mo weigh?

I just weighed my 6month old (tomorrow) he is only 14.5 pounds. This seems extremely low to me. Can I please get some numbers from you ladies? I'm concerned enough to where I might just finish breastfeeding and move on to formula. 6 months of EBF has been tough and I feel like I should be happy but seeing such a low weight us making me think I made a mistake by not supplementing. I wanted to give up so many times but always ended up sticking  to my plan. Now idk how I should feel about this

Had the dr said any thing? Some kids are just small. My second has always been 10 percentile or less she 8 an still like that but she is on her growth curve

He’s within the normal range. Sounds like you’re doing a great job! Not all babies are chunky, it doesn’t mean they’re underweight.

Depends what’s size your baby is.. 🤷🏽‍♀️ my baby boy weighed 13 lbs in just under 6weeks. He’s huge though 😅 people assume he’s over 3 months. He’s in the 96th percentile.

My son is 5.5 months and at 14lbs doctor isn’t concerned.

I would talk to doctor first, you may just have a petite baby. Babies can vary on size so much-mine is 94th percentile and was 11lb 11oz at 5wks.

I would talk to your pediatrician if your concerned.  All kids are different.  My children have always, even during gestation, been in the 95% or higher for weight.   My second boy was 22.5 lbs at 6 months.   My niece on the other hand was only about 17 lbs I believe.

It's more about a pattern of weight than a single number. When was the last time your baby was weighed, and how much? Small then too?

My son is 6.5 months and is 18.4 pounds. But I know many babies who are older than him and weigh less but are perfectly healthy. You baby is within a healthy weight range and some children are just slow gainers
