I'm in need of desperate help!

Me and my fiancée have been living together since May. Both of our families live here but his mother and husband lives in Houston. We are in a big financial struggle and he just got offered back his job in Houston and where he is going so am I. I just found out that they want him back on the 21st of this month. What do I do about my job? Do I just quit? I want to leave on good terms but am not wanting to stay here without him. My boss is somewhat of a family friend so I can't be entirely rude. Please help what do I do? Has anyone been through somewhat like this?
