TMI no picture!!! Discharge question!

So I have 4 days until AF is due and I've just started having an increase of discharge really sticky and gooey (sorry TMI) but I can't remember for the life of me if this has happened before with previous periods. Is this normal for before AF or could it be a possible pregnancy symptom?
