So I'm a white female dating a Mexican male. We've been together for the past 3 years and have a lot of issues due to our difference in race... All completely from his family. My family is fully accepting of who he is and love him. His family dislikes me, especially his mom, because I am not Mexican and because she views all white women as sluts. She hates my tattoos, hates how I dress and basically everything about me. His 17 year sister is dating a white guy and they just can't get enough of him. I can't even talk to my boyfriend about it because it just seems like he doesn't understand. It bothers me every day and I don't think there's anything I can do to cause them to change their stereotyped opinion of me.The story is much longer that just this but for now, that is the gist. I don't usually post on these things but that's how desperate I am for some outside perspective or input.
