Do you think Gypsy Rose should have gotten a jail sentence?

Gypsy and Dee Dee Blanchard were seen as the mother and daughter duo... however, Dee Dee has Munchausen by Proxy syndrome. She would fake Gypsy’s illnesses and lie her way to get money and medication off of it. When in reality, there was nothing wrong with Gypsy. Gypsy developed a secret relationship with a boyfriend and they planned to kill Dee Dee. They succeeded. Gypsy is now serving a 10 year sentence and I believe her boyfriend is serving life with no parole. (Don’t quote me on that)

What is your take on this situation? I’m sorry if it’s been posted already. I couldn’t find any.
