Crushing on a bully?

I have a crush on this guy. I’m not sure if I should continue to like him because I know that he has bullied one of my now-friends in middle school. He told her to quit band, which we are all in. I’m not sure if he continues to bully people. Also when I have a crush on someone, I really fall for them, which makes it really hard for me to get over them. I’m willing to get over him, I’m just not sure if that’s the right choice. I really like him. I just don’t know what to do.
