Have a conversation with him about it. It was driving me nuts that my husband wasn't helping me with chores. Yes he works in a stressful job that he hates everyday, but it's a struggle for me to get out of bed a lot of the time - let alone fine the energy to do the dishes, laundry, etc., etc. I was wanting him to help without me asking. But we talked about it and he just genuinely doesn't think about things needing to be done, unless it's spelled out for him (yeah ADHD 🙄). When I would ask for help, there would be times when he would get annoyed and irritated about it. Come to find out, I was asking for help while he was in the middle of a live match with his friends and he couldn't exactly get up and do it when I was wanting/needing him to. If I could wait five minutes, it usually wouldn't be an issue. And if he's not playing with his friends, then he doesn't get irritated about it.
