“Donation” vs bribery (poll question in description)

Would you say donating to a school to open an academy (essentially ensuring your child’s acceptance) is the same as paying off someone to get your child into the school?

I recently saw a post from Dr. Dre saying his daughter got into college all on her own. Blog pages picked it up and said he was throwing shade at lori Laughlin and felicity huffman.

In one of the comments someone mentioned the $70mil donation Dr Dre put in on to open a undergrad music academy at USC a few years prior to his daughter acceptance, comparing it to the collage bribery scandal.
