Would you get a bassinet?

I got this pack n play mainly for traveling. It’s the same design I had with my son. I was planning on also getting a bassinet for her to sleep in, in our bedroom, but now I wish I would have just gotten a different pack n play with the bassinet insert. Do you think the baby would sleep on the top of this pack n play? Or should I go with my original plan to get a separate bassinet? I know they like to feel cozy so I’m worried she won’t be comfortable in the pack n play...

I bought this to keep downstairs and bought a regular bassinet to keep upstairs beside my bed.

That is perfectly fine to sleep in! He should be just fine. My son slept on the top portion until he was to big and then in the bottom portion until he learned to climb out! Then to toddler bed. Never liked the crib.

We did both, just because we have 2 floors and I am lazy and don't like going up and down stairs lol but a pack and play would totally suffice.

We used exactly what your picture is of for my daughter when she came home for the first month. The “nappers” that attach on top of these things usually have warnings that they are not safe for long durations of sleep, aka at night. Don’t waste your money, what you have is totally fine and safer anyway.
