Bringing home baby?

Question

What was your first day bringing home baby like? What did you do?

Any tips for outfits best to bring home in (onesie, top and pants, snaps or zippers etc), tips for getting home -and/or settling back in? Any tips at all? Lol :)

FTM just looking to get as much info and advise as possible. I have been reading lots but it's nice to hear from real people :)

Have a stocked pantry and fridge.  Lots of snacks and bottled water.  I would get really hungry and thirsty everytime I breast fed my son.  It makes it easy if you have enough of everything that you don't need to leave the house for a week or so.  I also had a basket that I kept extra diapers, wipes onesies and creams in down stairs so I wasn't constantly having to climb the stairs.  Also keep a journal your babies pediatrician will want to know how many wet/ dirty diapers your little ones is having.  Hope this helps.

I'm still in the TTC stage lol but I've been reading EVERYTHING to do with pregnancy and such... One article I read said it's a good idea to stock up on everythinf, like toilet paper, paper towels, tylenol, quick freezer meals, and all kinds of stuff like that (:
