Ovulation question

I recently had my hsg done and it came back clear my tubes are open. Before that my dr gave provera to induce a period because I haven’t had one in 5 months. The dr told me to take provera again on cycle day 35 then call the dr office the first day of bleeding and she will call me in clomid. My question is is there a chance I could ovulate on my own before my next provera is started ? I have not ovulate at all in 5 months I’ve been tracking with opk and have recently been diagnosed with pcos. Has anyone had any experience with this at all?
