I am not sure if it will work for you but all of my smilies were for late afternoon pee. (4pm)
I didn't ever get a positive in the am, even if taken on the same day as a positive afternoon test!

There will always be 2 lines. One is the control line and the other is the actual test line. For an opk, the test line needs to be as dark as the control line, or darker. When that happens, you'll get a smiley face. Good luck and baby dust to you!

If you take them out of the casing, they will always have 2 lines. They aren't positive until you get the smiley face!
