help! confused on what to do..

hi ladies! i expected my period on saturday, the 23rd of march. (this past saturday.) when it didn’t come i was surprised because my periods are usually like clockwork. i’m either a day early or right on time. i’m concerned as to what to do, i haven’t had any sexual intercourse and i don’t think i could’ve got any semen close enough to get me pregnant. i cannot fully remember all the specifics but i know i didn’t have sex. any ideas on what i should do? take a test to be sure? i know it seems outrageous to take a test but im thinking it may be reassuring for some reason. please no rude or snarky comments. i understand you may have varies opinions but please be considerate.
