This is more of a question for women on here who had Pre-E and had to deliver early. I currently have mild pre-e with no presenting symptoms, just the silent ones: high BP and proteinuria. I’m 33 weeks and my doctor said I may have to deliver in the next 2 weeks. I feel great, and all scans show baby is doing great. I’m wondering at what point you were induced? What circumstances arose that made the doctors say “today’s the day”? I’m really hoping to wait as long as possible. She said as long as baby isn’t in distress and I don’t develop any other symptoms she will hold off. I guess I just want to know how quickly it can escalate?

Well I’ve been transferred to a hospital in San Francisco about 5 hours from my home and will be induced by Sunday at 34 weeks exactly. Glad I’m in a safe place that is so highly rated and can give us proper and state of the art treatment. Thank you ladies for your stories! Can’t wait to meet our daughter in a few days!
