Boobs feel like rocks, pump it out now or wait?

I’m scheduled for a c section Tuesday April 2nd at 38 weeks. Probably a dumb question idk but my boobs feel very tender and stiff, I do plan on breastfeeding so I’m unsure if I should pump to relieve the pain for wait and save what I have for baby next week???

Save what you have... it's not good to pump before you have baby. Right now all you have is colostrum and if you try pumping that you aren't going to get very much out.

I’ve been pumping - per doctor recommendation to get the contractions started. I’ve been pumping 1-2 times a day for 15 minutes on each side and I haven’t had any contractions...I have pumped about an ounce of colostrum in total in 4 days
