I am a Certified Medical Assistant with little to no experience. Life got in the way and boom here we are 2 years later still have not found a job in fear that I have forgotten everything or My resume won’t look so good with the two year gap.

Buuut I’m thinking of going back to school but cannot decided if I want to get a Phlebotomy Certification or a Veterinary Assistant Certification.

Now the real question is would it be wise to get a Phlebotomy certification knowing it will benefit my Medical Assistant Certification or completely change my direction and get a Veterinary Assistant Certification because I would love to work with animals?

Am I nuts? Has this happened to anyone?
