Hey guys, I just needed somewhere to post my story of me visiting my boyfriend. My parents don’t want me dating, but I am. And I just want to tell someone how amazing my little weekend with him was. I am working up the courage to tell my parents because I am 22 years old. It’s just so hard to tell them when they drilled it into my head that relationships are bad.

ANYWAYS

I drove up to Jackson, Tennessee from Pensacola, Florida to see my boyfriend who I haven’t seen since September. I stayed the weekend with him and it was so amazing I didn’t want it to end. We went to Memphis and had a peaceful evening of walking around downtown. We even took a picture together.

I got to meet his father finally! He’s been wanting me to meet his father for a while now. His dad is super old and his health isn’t the best, so getting to meet him was something we both wanted. I had to leave on Sunday to make it back to Florida by nightfall. And I cried like a baby having to leave him again. His mom, bless her heart, went out to Memphis to buy groceries to make me a proper Vietnamese dinner. But sadly I had to leave. I felt so bad that she went out of her way to do something like that for me and I could do nothing but say sorry. I’m now on the hunt for a gift to give her to show my appreciation for what she did.

I just love this man so much. I’ve known him since I was 19 and in April we will know each other for 3 years. Granted we haven’t dated the whole three years. We had to break up to better ourselves so that we can be better for other. and after going on dates and meeting different guys, I know this is the man for me. He had never left my mind nor my heart. And although we have distance between us, our love has never faltered. Even in our time apart.

When I saw him this weekend he gave me a present. It was a Disney necklace that had the castle inside a heart. I never stop talking about Disney to him. And he knows how much I love the movies and the theme parks. Look how gorgeous it is!
