Burning breast pain. Help!

I have been breast-feeding and bottlefeeding expressed breastmilk to my six week old since he was born without any issue. Over the past few days, I have noticed that my nipples become itchy and much more uncomfortable. Last night, my nipples were really red and chafed looking and pumping was so painful on one side that I had to stop mid pump.  I have been experiencing sharp and burning pain in my right nipple and breast since then, to the point of tears.  I have tried a different size flange, hot shower, cold packs, lanolin and pumping through The pain to empty the breast.  Nothing seems to be helping and the pain is pretty intense. Any ideas?
