My baby's heartbeat is between 166-170 I read that the smaller the baby is the higher the heartbeat? And is the gender thing correct with the heartbeat? I'm almost 14 weeks so was curious!

According to the old wives tale u are having a girl.

The tale is 140 and under is a boy and over 140 (what you're having) is a girl, due to girls having faster matabulosims, but this has not been proven at all. ALTHOUGH it was true for me, my sister and brother and now my baby girl. She has always been over 170. Congrats and good luck!!! 💕🙏🏼

Heart rate and gender is an old wives tale.  There have actually been scientific studies that prove no correlation.  It's right 50% of the time (same as flipping a coin)

I'm pregnant with a boy and his heart rate was in the 160s in the beginning and then gradually fell into the 130s and has been steady there ever since.

I think it all depends on how much your baby is loving around during the ultra sound which would cause the heart rate to fluctuate each time

My daughter was up in the 160+ her heartbeat since has dropped to 140-150s my son started at 160 but dropped to 130-140s
