Telling His Family

I have the most amazing boyfriend. He has been my rock since day one and I am so lucky to have him in my life. With that being said, I am 22w and he hasn't told his family yet. I haven't meet them and we've been together 2 years (it's also difficult because they live in a different state). I keep asking him when he's going to tell them & he says soon. He assures me that they will love me & want to be involved in our sons life but then why wait? Everyone I love knows & I feel like he would be even more excited if everyone he loves knew and could be apart of all this too. I don't want to pressure him but it's really starting to bother me.  How do I get him to open up more about why he doesn't want to tell him or even getting him to tell them?
