Kidney infection?

So I’ve been having right sided back pain that started about two weeks ago and just within the last week it’s become pretty debilitating. The pain is more in the middle of my back around my bra line. I also have a sharp pain that just started on the right side under my rib cage. Is this normal pregnancy pains. Or could this be a kidney infection. I have no other symptoms just this awful pain.

Your kidneys are much lower than that.
I’ve had a kidney infection before, and they are secondary infections typically. Meaning, it’s unlikely you have one that wasn’t primarily caused by another type of infection- usually a UTI. 
Kidney infections will cause pretty severe back pain, but that would not be your only symptom. Usually a fever is present, and constant. 
I would definitely check up with your doctor as none of us can really help you out here— just in my experience, it does not sound like a kidney infection.
