My beautiful baby girl was born at 3:53pm March 29th!! I was 36wks and 4 days and had a C section that I knew I was going to have but everything started as natural labor! I did have to be put to sleep for my section due to other health issues that made it safer for me to deliver this way. Riley Ann was born at 3:53pm weighing 5lbs 11oz and measuring 17.5 inches in length. She’s currently in the NICU getting a little help with her breathing but they have already bumped her down to 21 on oxygen which is what we breathe. She’s also getting IV antibiotics due to her swallowing some meconium but she is not showing any side effects or symptoms of that. I have not see her in person but her daddy has been able to spend a lot of time with her and taken tons of pictures for me. Neither of us have held her yet unfortunately. I will get to see her first thing in the morning and I CANNOT wait!! Contractions started this morning around 8:30 and by 12:45 I was sent to L&D! I cannot believe she is here and I thank God for her being here and recovering quickly! Here are a couple of pictures!!
