First true visit at 10 weeks?

Is anyone else’s doctor making them wait for a “real” visit at about 10 weeks? I had my yearly last week just two days after I had a positive pregnancy test. My doctors nurse practitioner put me at about 5-6 weeks from how my uterus felt from her pushing around. Last time I was pregnant with my daughter I don’t remember them making me wait that long but I was far enough along we heard a heartbeat and stuff. I guess I just feel it’s weird but maybe I’m just anxious?

The same thing is happening for me. I went in at 7 weeks expecting the whole ultrasound experience and all she did was feel my uterus as well and take my blood pressure. I have to wait for 10+ weeks too. A bit frustrating! But I’ve had other friends say they had to wait too.

My first appointment is at 9w1d, and I’m over 35 and have a history of miscarriages. Between 8-10 weeks is normal, not much for them to do any earlier than that.

My doc told me to wait until 12 weeks. He said it’s a more fulfilling appointment because I’ll hear the heart beat and get a better picture on the ultrasound

I called to make my doctor's appointment earlier in the week. The scheduling woman told me they wanted to see me between 8-10 weeks. I'm scheduled at 9 weeks

Yea mine is making me wait. This is my first pregnancy. Everyone I know gets their first appointment at 6 weeks. I'm kinda bummed and stressed about it

Due to prior miscarriage, my doctor had me come in a 7 weeks for a pregnancy check (which was an ultrasound). I just had my first prenatal at 9 weeks.

My doctor saw me at 8 weeks 3 days (bc my FD sucked and didnt send the referal when they were suppose to) but he prefers to see me at 7 weeks due to me having complications. He sees me every 3 weeks also with a bedside ultrasound each one

I had my intake appt on Friday but because of my BP I am high risk so they scheduled an US for tomorrow, Monday, and was going to schedule my first OB appt the same week but pushed it to th 16th so we can do the bloodwork and testing as well
