Hello everyone!

My LO and I are really struggling with breastfeeding. She will latch on just fine but only actually eat for a couple minutes before going to sleep or just starting to suck for comfort. I’ll spend hours sitting on the couch alternating between feeding and letting her sleep until she wakes up hungry (about 10 minutes). To make sure she gets enough to eat (and I can actually get up and run an errand) I’ve had to pump and bottle feed her. We try to pace-feed her as much as possible. We even have to supplement with formula because her appetite is so big. But she never comes close to draining my breasts.

She’s 15 days old. I’m exhausted and depressed and I feel like giving up on breastfeeding.

Has anyone been through this??
