Pump exclusively?

Hi All
My babe is 10 days old now and this breastfeeding can get quite frustrating.  I was wondering if it was too early to pump exclusively and just bottle feed? Or is that discouraged at all?

I pumped for a bit in the beginning while trying to get baby to feed. When they are so little it’s hard! It took a few weeks to get her to figure it out and now it’s very easy for us both (baby is 2 months tomorrow). Pumping suckssss because it feels like all you do is pump and clean the parts then feed baby, but I totally get having a hard time bf in the beginning. You can do it! Also, all positivity don’t be afraid to do whatever works best for you and baby 💗💗

I’m an exclusive pumper. Been since day 1. LO is 7 weeks this Thursday. It’s hard, it’s tiring, and it feels like a full time job. You’re a Slave to the pump gods. 
Sometimes I wish I kept at it with breastfeeding. But I’m okay with our decision to be an exclusive pumper too. Hubs gets all the night feeds midnight-8am. So it gives me a VERY nice break. 
A lot of washing. I feel like I’m washing parts all day (I have enough parts to pump 4 different sessions, too). Take care of those babies (breast). My nipples are starting to hurt from all the suction but I think it’s because I need to lower the power.

What in particular frustrates you?

I EP’d for my first daughter after struggling for 5 weeks with my milk supply. I’m leaning towards EP’ing from the start or at least the first or second week after baby’s born.

I plan on exclusively pumping from the start. I’m a FTM mom so I don’t know much yet. But I found a website called exclusivelypumping.com and she has a lot of good information on there about schedules, tips and tricks. Mainly what I’ve gathered is to follow a schedule, have extra pump parts, and extra bottles to make the clean up part not as stressful.
