Did you guys exchange gifts with your newborn and toddler?

If so what did you have them give each other? My son will be 2 and half years old. When baby is born. Any opinions?

Yes I did! My older 2 daughters who are 4 and 5 were so excited about their baby sister and loved helping mama pick out clothes, bows, etc so I had them each pick babygirl an outfit out at the store, a bow and a stuffed animal. For my older 2, we bought them each a new book, new coloring sets and each a new small toy to give them from us and their baby sister. I think it helped alot on easing the jealousy/nervousness the older 2 felt when baby sister was actually born lol.

My second will be born in July and we plan on getting our 5 year old a gift from his brother. just not sure what yet.

I didnt, but alot of my family got my oldest something new like a cup or shirt if they brought the baby anything

Nope I never did. I made sure I had a few new books for my older kids so they would be able to sit and read with me while I nursed.
