I do it sometimes when I am relaxing , I put an old towel between my legs and chill watching films. For some reason I find it helps with my cramps. Don't know if it is psychological or what. I wouldn't do it in public though for the obvious reasons.

My issue with it is how horribly unhygienic it is.  It's equivalent to just wiping your boogers or nosebleed on someone, or never washing your hands.  I understand that as a feminist trend it is about freeing women and allowing them to be women, but it's disgusting.  Absolutely disgusting.

I think I could, if I didn't have to leave the house, but since my period lasts a few days and I have a job and a home and need food, I wear thin pads and do my thing.
