I just bought it because i was told it smelt good but I find it smells like old canola oil.... do I have a batch gone bad or is it supposed to smell like blah

Smells herbal to me but it does have a cooking oil smell kind of.

My just smells like cocoa butter and herbs. And I’ve had it for almost a year now, so idk maybe just a bad batch?

I used it with my son and it smelled like just oil, there were no perfumes or floral scents. I’m sure it did it’s job fine but I definitely remember the smell being a little gross.
