Trying after miscarriage...how long did you wait?

So I stopped bleeding last Sunday and as of last Wednesday my HCG was 1.8...so we’re at it again. My doctor didn’t say anything either way, so we started again. its crazy because I was definitely that girl who thought “this will never happen to me” so I still kind of can’t believe I lost the little bean. I’m hopeful for this time around but how do you keep from being terrified after a miscarriage? I’m trying to act like it doesn’t bother me because it was so early (only 5 weeks) and I’m trying to put it out of my mind so we can move on. I guess the point of this is how long do you wait to try again? I don’t want to wait..I feel like if we get it again this time around then the whole miscarriage will get pushed down far enough I won’t even think about it anymore. Sorry. Maybe I just needed to vent a little.
