With the first trimester (genetic) screening are they able to tell the sex of the baby?!

I have seen multiple times on here that people got there genetic results and have the sex already. Just wondering if it's the same tests or if it is a different test?!

It depends on which test... The standars 1st trimester screening and Nuchal dont tell the sex... The harmony, verifi, etc can but they're Not always cover by your insurance. .

Yes...Our test list wasn't extensive and we didn't want to know at that time - my dr said they will be able to tell from the chromosomes .. We told them not to tell us.

I had the test done on me at 12 weeks & at 14 weeks found out I'm having a baby girl. :) Results take 2 weeks to come back. They can do it as early as 10-11 weeks.
