When i should start buying Stuff for my baby... I’ve nothing for my baby yet

We started buying things almost as soon as we found out. Little things, like gender neutral clothes. I was really terrified of miscarriage and buying little things here and there helped me get excited about the pregnancy, not just terrified of things going wrong. We stated buying bigger things (crib, changing table, dresser, etc.) at about 14 weeks. We just started painting the nursery  (20 weeks 4 days)

I started buying at 12 weeks. Just little things. As I progressed, I bought more things. It’s all about your preference. Just remember if the baby comes early and you have nothing, that will be unneeded stress on you. 
This is my other half’s first child (my third). If anything were to happen to me, he would be prepared for the first year of this baby’s life. I always try to be prepared for the unknown.

If you’re having a baby shower, wait until after that so that you can buy what others don’t get for you.

Everybody’s situation is different.
I just hit the 22 week mark, but at the moment we only have 4 onesies for our little man.
But that’s mostly because we are planning to buy and move house in the next month and a half so it just seems a waste to buy stuff then need to move that extra stuff.
Sure I would like to buy earlier, because current situation doesn’t allow for it.

Whenever you want.  We just bought furniture but nothing else yet - at 21 weeks.  Everyone has their own comfort zone of when to start buying :)

Just but stuff when you feel like it or see something you want. Or if there’s an awesome sale. 
I bought a boppy lounger pillow, a four pack of gowns and I just ordered the swing I want because it went down to $88 (which I think is a website mistake as yesterday it just went back up to $123 after being on sale, so I grabbed it before it can go back up lol)  
Other than that I just have the registry freebies. So from those I don’t think I need any more bottles. 
Typically I wait until the last month or two to shop if I need anything (this is when I’ll buy the car seat I want unless it goes on a mega sale or typo like the swing lol) 
And I’ll get my breast pump closer to birth too. 
I don’t really NEED anything immediately around birth though since I have newborn clothes from when my son was a baby and diapers and wraps/slings from when my daughter was a baby. (Kicking myself for giving away her baby clothes to a neighbor when she outgrew them lol - having another girl) 
Oh, I bought a new baby book since the one I bought towards the beginning is specifically just counting down the weeks of pregnancy and not even detailed for that really. I wish I found a good pregnancy journal. I give up on that. 
If there’s a good sale, I grab stuff.

I’m 21 weeks & we have the crib, car seat and stroller.. we have some clothes & tiny little shoes our family & friends have bought us. We’re trying not to buy to much but I’m a huge clearance shopper & found so much at target I was tempted to buy.. but as this is the first grandchild on both side of the family & so many people are excited for us we’re trying to wait until after the baby shower to buy whatever we else we need.. but we do have enough if the baby were to come early.
Whenever you’re comfortable to start buy would be my recommendation

I started buying at 12 weeks. I’ve received a lot of clothing from friends and family. We bought a crib at 12 weeks. The only big thing I have left to purchase is a stroller and car seat. I’m 19 weeks with my second boy.

I’ve been buying since I got the positive but this is baby 5 a surprise and I don’t have anything left from my 3 year old I gave it all away. Definitely won’t be having a shower so I got everything now I’m 18 weeks and now I have to save up for my maternity leave as I don’t have short term disability. I’m also advanced age at 35 so I was worried about early labor and not having everything or getting put on bed rest. Do what you are comfortable with but I would not wanna be scrambling around in the last 3 weeks to get all the stuff I didn’t get at a shower ppl are tired at the end and you may tend to not always get big ticket items there so if there’s something pricey you want I would get it myself if it was on sale.
