Went for a ultrasound today, I should be 6 weeks exactly.

First off I didn’t go with a full bladder as I thought it would have been getting done internally and I wasn’t told to come with full bladder.

Started off with abdominal u/s, could see a gestational sac with the fluid, in the right place and surrounding uterus shows all the signs they would expect to see for a early pregnancy however they couldn’t see baby yet.

Tried internally but my uterus sits quite far back so the deeper the probe was going, they were loosing picture resolution so it wasn’t clear at all, was getting a better image with abdominal u/s & I didn’t have anything in my bladder either.

Going back in 2 weeks time, hopefully the baby will be bigger to be seen abdominally, still a worry though but I’m trying to remain positive as i know it’s very early to see baby from scanning the outside at this stage.

Sorry for the long post, has anyone else been in the same boat or similar situation?
