Will they check for dilation every visit now ?

I started going every week since I hit 35 weeks , I’m 36 weeks now and have another appt tomorrow. They checked cervix last week but couldn’t tell bc i was in too much pain , turned out I just had a yeast infection. I took meds and cleared it up so r they gonna check again ? Do they check every week now ?

Mine wanted to check weekly starting at 37w. But dliation doesn't mean anything until you're in active labor unfortunately, so I denied checks until 39w to see what station he was in.

Mine started weekly checks at 36 by week 38 I was 4cm had my daughter the next day.

Mine only checked at my 35 week appointment, and then again at my 38 week appointment. And, the only reason I was checked at my 38 week appointment was because I’m being induced at 39 weeks (tomorrow!)

I don't think mine will unless there's any reason to or if I ask. Every doctor is different though and it probably just depends on if you're having any symptoms that would make them want to check.

Mine said he ain't checking until 39 weeks or unless i'm feeling contractions, he says he doesn't want to accidentally give me an infection.

My OB did not but I was doing NSTs twice a week starting at 32 weeks.
