Nursery DIY?

Any mommas on a budget putting a nursery together or being a DIY mommy and willing to share what you have put together so far? Would love some inspiration!

I’m kind of thrifty throughout my entire home lol...I bought a lot of the furniture in my house from estate sales. I bought a really neat dry sink that I’m going to use as a changing table ☺️ not this exact one, but something like this. It was $100 and solid wood. I bought it at a consignment shop. As far as cribs and things like that I’ve heard not to buy used bc of new safety regulations...but I also bought a couple velvet chairs from a guy on Facebook marketplace. One is blue, one is pink...so depending on what we have, one will go in my office and one in the nursery! I bought them for $50 each.

We got an old dresser from a friend and have the changing pad on top of that. Crib came from family. Using a chair we already have until we decide if a glider is necessary or if just the chair will be sufficient. I spent more on mats and frames for the prints that I had to touch up and reprint than anything. For when he is still in our room, we are borrowing a bassinet from another friend, and have a pack n play (gifted to us new) for when he's too big for the bassinet. I will also acknowledge that I am being pretty minimalist by choice, and nothing actually matches, so it might not work for everyone, but I'm not willing to spend a lot on something I'm using for a very short period of time.

I’m crafty so I’m doing most of my own decor and adding in the stuff I’ve collected over the years! I didn’t know if you meant decor or furniture 😬 😂 we are redoing a couple dressers too but I’m waiting for the new carpet to go in before trying to start any big projects 😂
