What should I expect?

I’m going to be 10 weeks on Thursday and I am going for a surgical abortion. I will be put under conscious sedation. 
I’ve been finding a lot of information online about what will go on during the procedure and general after care but I can’t seem to find much on what happens the rest of the day and night. Was there a lot of pain and blood for anyone’s who’s had this? Will I still be out of it from the sedation? I just wanna make sure I’m prepared for how the healing process should go and if there’s anything I should do to prepare for the rest of the day. 
Also they didn’t tell me to bring anything with me so I’m wondering if there is anything I should bring. I assume my most comfortable clothes will be the best option to wear.
Edit: Another question I want to ask but forgot, how long are you usually at the clinic?

I worked at planned parenthood and assisted with abortions. I’ve had to have a DNC myself for a miscarriage so I have some actual experience with the procedure, although I was put under anesthesia. That day you might have some  moderate cramping and bleeding. Expect to see some clots. The procedure itself will be very vague in memory due to the sedative they give you. Make sure to wear comfy clothes. They will provide a pad for you but in my experience, they’re not the best and don’t have wings so bring one if you’d like ( preferably an overnight one as bleeding can be heavy for some people). Keep taking Tylenol for any cramping. Do not do anything strenuous for few days - no heavy lifting but it will mostly feel like a heavy crappy period for the first few days. Some people are able to go back to work the next day and some prefer to take a few days off to recover physically and emotionally. I didn’t have an abortion but I did have the D&C done since I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks. I bled for two weeks pretty heavily and after that it was spotting. I had to go back to my doctor as I was having major blood clots bigger than golf balls but I know not many women experience this. I didn’t have much pain though, just slight cramps that weren’t more than a 2 or 3 on a scale of 1-10. I was put to sleep for the procedure as well as I was too nervous and don’t remember anything until I woke up. After that I was pretty groggy for about an hour but was completely fine after that. When you go home just make sure to rest and not do anything strenuous like heavy lifting or exercising until you’re cleared at your follow up appointment
