It this normal? Should I save it?

I’m 32 weeks right now, my breasts have been leaking a bit for a few weeks and I got curious so I expressed some into a sterile bottle, the lactation consultant gave my several of these syringes to start collecting in a few weeks. Is it normal I was able to fill one this early? I could probably fill another, I just stopped at a full one. Should I save this? Is it too early? This didn’t happen with my first, I was luck to get a drop or two even after he was born.

Freeze it for sure!! I’m only planning  to breastfeed the colostrum then switch to formula so I’ve been expressing and saving in the freezer for awhile now.  It’s really nice to see a little supply build up! Then I’ll just thaw and put them in her bottle so she’ll have extra goodness :)

Your draining your breasts of colostrum which is very vital to the health and immunity of your baby? Are they telling you to express milk this early?!! This stuff is like gold to a newborn. Please be very careful!!

I would think it’s to early to save it. But idk ask your dr if it could just be frozen

I think that much is normal. I woke up with a HUGE spot from leakage out of one of my breasts last night. Definitely the most I’ve seen at one time... 33 weeks.

I just wish I had something coming out of my breast so I knew I was producing milk. I’ll be 35 weeks Saturday and have had no sign of even leaking

You can freeze it. I’d say it’s normal. Look up antenatal expression. It’s good to have if you know your baby may need to be fed by syringe or if they need a little extra.
