The past 2 months has had me stressed and worried due to my SO and his ex. They are now going for custody. She has been a real pain and my step daughters attitude has changed for the worse since her mom filed for custody and has taken away time from us. My SO did not have money for a lawyer and i was concerned he would not get what he was asking for which was keeping things the way they were. His ex filed for full custody and only wants him to have visitation. Today he finally went and talked to a lawyer and is happy he has one now. Im so thankful my in-laws are being so generous by paying for the lawyer to help him out because even they know that he is the stable parent. Hopefully we get joint custody and can help our daughter get back to being the way she was before. Im praying god will get us through all of this and hoping for the best possible outcome.
