Can I get my nails done?

Hi ladies! 
I’m 5 weeks and 2 days with my first pregnancy. Still doesn’t feel real except for the aching boobies and exhaustion. 
Anyway, does anyone know if SNS nails are safe to do while pregnant? 
It’s time for me to get my nails re-done, but I have not been able to find anything about if SNS is safe during pregnancy. I’m assuming its probably ok since it’s the “healthiest” kind of nail treatment. But I know that healthy for you can be unsafe for baby. Thoughts?

I dont know what SNS is but generally nail salon fumes and polish are not recommended for pregnancy and people TTC in particular as they contain toxic chemicals and they have been shown to harm fertility if exposed to them often. If you’re going to get nails done it’s best to try to use the ones that are free of the harmful chemicals (a lot of them will say ‘free 5’ or free ‘8’ - the higher the number the safer they are). It’s probably not much of a risk occasionally but there has been shown to be a link between fertility issues and nail polish chemicals :) x

I've had my nails done my entire pregnancy, as long as it's a well ventilated room apparently it's ok, treat yaself! 💅🏻
