Most airports will let you through with pre made formula, just check the website of the airport you’re flying through. If, like me, you’re a little nervous though if there is a Boots in the airport you’re flying from you can order the pre made formula from there in advance and pick it up when you get through security. Also it seems Americans don’t really worry about adding hot water to powder formula to sterilise it, so I think we’re planning to bring an extra suitcase so we can pack a tommee tippee machine when we head out to the states when our little one is 16 weeks as they don’t sell them out there and I love the convenience. Obviously I’ll also need to get a voltage converter. I sound like I’m going to loads of trouble, but we are heading out for a month and as my husband is American I’m sure we’ll be back and forth while baby is still on bottles and so get the use out of it! 😂
Flying with a baby
Ok so... travelling from the uk to the USA in June when baby girl will be 3 months old. How do you do formula on an airplane?? At the moment we are combination feeding because my boobies don’t want to make enough to feed my 9.5lb goober but I’m hoping this will change by end of June... if not though we will have to formula feed on the plane as well as boobies sooooooo - how do you do it?? Eugh!! So many questions - why can’t babies come with an instruction manual!?! Help!
